 Royal challengers Bangalore

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (often abbreviated as RCB) are a franchise cricket team based in Bangalore, Karnataka, that plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL). It was founded in 2008 by United Spirits and named after the company's liquor brand Royal Challenge. Since its inception, the team has played its home matches at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
The Royal Challengers have always lost the IPL yet wrapped sprinters up on three events somewhere in the range of 2009 and 2016. Their absence of accomplishment over the course of the years in spite of the presence of different outstanding players has procured them the tag of "underachievers".[2][3] The group holds the records of both the most noteworthy and the least sums in the IPL – 263/5 and 49 individually.

In September 2007, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) declared the foundation of the Indian Premier League, a Twenty20 rivalry to be begun in 2008.[4] The groups for the rivalry, addressing 8 unique urban communities of India, including Bangalore, were set up for sale in Mumbai on 20 February 2008. The Bangalore establishment was bought by Vijay Mallya, who paid US$111.6 million for it. This was the second most noteworthy bid for a group, next just to Reliance Industries' offered of US$111.9 million for the Mumbai Indians.

The brand worth of Royal Challengers Bangalore was assessed to be ₹595 crore (US$83 million) in 2019, as indicated by a study led by Duff and Phelps.[5]
